Article 1 – Purpose
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale constitute the entire agreement between MEISO and its Customers, and the sole contractual document of that agreement. They apply to all Customers and Subscribers from the purchase of a Session or Pack or the taking out of a Subscription.
Article 2 – Registration procedures and access conditions
Anyone wishing to take part in a flotation session, a combo or a Sonice session must first:
Ø (i) Acquire an entitlement
– Either purchase a Session;
– Or purchase a Pack;
– Or take out a Subscription.
Once in possession of the Booking for their Session, Pack or Subscription, the purchaser will be considered a MEISO customer throughout the validity period of the purchased entitlement.
Ø (ii) Register for a session
To book a Session or Pack, or take out a valid Subscription, the Customer must first register online on the MEISO website, by email or by telephone. The Customer must pay for the Session, Pack or Subscription when making the Booking, unless they have already paid through the pre-sales campaign. Once the Booking has been duly completed and paid for, the Customer will receive a booking confirmation.
The Customer is responsible for their bookings and, in particular, must check that each booking is accurate (location, date, time and number of places); otherwise, booked sessions that are not attended may be deducted. Any correction must be made as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours before the session starts, or 48 hours before the Combo starts.
Article 3 – Applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be updated or amended without prior notice. The applicable terms are those in force when the Customer books Sessions or Packs or takes out a Subscription. The applicable house rules, however, are those in force on the day the Customer visits the Centre. By registering for a Session, the Customer agrees to comply with the house rules in force on the day of their visit.
Article 4 – Services, validity period, rescheduling and cancellation
A Session, Pack or Subscription grants access to the activities offered by MEISO. This right is non-transferable.
4.1 – Ticket validity period
Flotation sessions, whether purchased individually or in a pack, Sōnïce sessions, combos and treatments performed by a practitioner are valid for twelve (12) months, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Each ticket has a validity date, which can be viewed in the customer account.
A ticket expires on the date shown as its validity date; the last day on which the ticket can be used is therefore the day before that date.
While the ticket is still valid, it is nevertheless possible to book a session scheduled after its expiry date. In that case, the ticket is accepted for that booking, but its original validity date is neither extended nor changed.
This distinction is particularly important if that booking is subsequently cancelled.
4.2 – Free cancellation
If the ticket used for the booking is still valid at the time of cancellation, the booking may be cancelled free of charge:
* up to 24 hours before a flotation or Sōnïce session starts;
* up to 48 hours before a combo starts.
The ticket is then made available again in the beneficiary’s account with its original expiry date, which remains unchanged.
4.3 – Late cancellation option
Once the free cancellation deadline has passed, but before the session has started, MEISO offers a late cancellation option provided that the ticket used for the booking is still valid at the time of cancellation.
This option allows the booking to be cancelled and the original ticket to be made available again on payment of:
* €20 per flotation session, including a Last Minute booking;
* €20 per cancelled Sōnïce place.
The late cancellation option is unavailable for combos. They may still be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the session starts if the ticket is still valid.
For Sōnïce, only some places in a booking may be cancelled; the other places remain booked. A combo, by contrast, must be cancelled in full.
The late cancellation option never extends the ticket’s validity period. A ticket made available again retains its original purchase or code and its original expiry date.
4.4 – Phoenix offer: new ticket after expiry
An expired ticket or gift code can no longer be used, credited back, reactivated or extended. If the same service is offered as a replacement, the beneficiary may buy a new ticket for that service at 50% of the full public price in force at the time of the new purchase. Promotional, pack, subscription and preferential rates are not used as the basis for this calculation.
This is a new purchase, with no refund for the expired ticket or gift code. The exact price is displayed before payment. The new ticket is valid for twelve (12) months from confirmation of its payment; its exact expiry date then appears in the beneficiary’s account.
This option is available from the beneficiary’s account or, for a gift code, through the code booking process. If it is not available directly online, the beneficiary may contact their Oāsis.
A booking made while the ticket was still valid remains valid if the ticket subsequently expires. If that booking is cancelled after expiry, the original ticket cannot be made available again, including through the late cancellation option. In that case, the purchase of a new ticket may be offered under the conditions above, with no additional cancellation fee.
4.5 – Effects of cancellation
Cancelling a booking does not constitute a refund of the originally purchased session.
If the ticket is still valid, cancellation only makes it available again in the beneficiary’s account, with its original expiry date.
If the ticket has already expired, it cannot be credited back, reactivated or extended. Only the replacement offer provided for in Article 4.4 may, when offered, allow the purchase of a new ticket.
The late cancellation option price is displayed before confirmation. Confirming payment immediately cancels the booking and, where the conditions are met, makes the ticket available again.
Once performed, payment for the late cancellation option remains with MEISO.
To cancel, the beneficiary must open the relevant booking from their account. The places concerned, any amount due and the applicable conditions are displayed before confirmation.
Online cancellation is unavailable once the session has started.
4.6 – Last Minute offer
Bookings made under the Last Minute offer benefit from a preferential rate in return for a booking made within the twenty-four (24) hours preceding the session.
Under Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
A Last Minute booking may be cancelled before the session starts on payment of €20, provided the ticket concerned is still valid at the time of cancellation.
In that case, the ticket is made available again on the original purchase and retains its original expiry date. This is not a refund of the session price.
If the ticket has already expired at the time of cancellation, the €20 cancellation option cannot recover it. The purchase of a new ticket at 50% of the full public price in force at the time of that new purchase may then be offered under Article 4.4, with no additional cancellation fee. Promotional, pack, subscription and preferential rates are excluded from the reference price.
Article 5 – Subscription
5.1 The different types of subscription
– Monthly flotation pass
– Annual flotation pass
– Sonice pass
5.1.2 Subscription conditions
Monthly flotation pass: the Subscription entitles the Subscriber to one flotation booking per month. Each additional flotation session will be charged at €55 including VAT. Each additional Sonice session will be charged at €65 including VAT.
Annual flotation pass: the Subscription entitles the Subscriber to four flotation bookings per month during the first three months. Each additional flotation session will be charged at €55 including VAT. Each additional Sonice session will be charged at €65 including VAT.
Sonice pass: the Subscription entitles the Subscriber to one Sonice session per month. Each additional flotation session will be charged at €55 including VAT. Each additional Sonice session will be charged at €65 including VAT.
5.2 Subscription term
The Subscription has a minimum commitment period of four months. The Subscriber may end the subscription by sending an email. An email reply will acknowledge receipt and confirm that the subscription has ended. Until the Subscriber receives a confirmation email, the subscription has not ended. A subscription cannot be ended by telephone or on site.
5.3 Subscription conditions
Bookings made under a Subscription are subject to the same cancellation conditions as individual Sessions, set out in Article 4; otherwise, the booked Session will be deducted from the Subscriber’s Subscription.
Failure to use Sessions during the entitlement’s validity period does not entitle the Subscriber to a refund for unused sessions. However, unused sessions are automatically carried forward, up to a limit of 12 months.
These Subscriptions are payable monthly by direct debit.
The Subscriber undertakes to:
take all necessary precautions for their health, safety and hygiene;
comply with MEISO’s instructions;
comply at all times while in the Centre with MEISO’s house rules.
The Subscriber may share their subscription with a third party if they make a request by email to the MEISO team.
5.4 Non-payment of monthly amounts by the Subscriber
If the Subscriber does not pay sums owed to MEISO, MEISO reserves the right to suspend access to the Centre and to the services provided under the Subscription. MEISO may also add the Subscriber to its debt collection file, in strict compliance with French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and civil liberties; this will prevent the Subscriber from benefiting from the advantages, products and/or services that MEISO, its affiliated companies or its partners may offer. MEISO may also terminate the contract automatically and without formalities 15 days after the Subscriber receives a formal notice that remains without effect. The Subscriber will remain liable for the contractual sums due. In that event, the Subscriber will also be liable for a penalty equal to the statutory interest rate in force on the sums as of their due date.
5.4.1 Rejected direct debits
If a direct debit set up under a Subscription is rejected, the Subscriber must pay the bank charges caused by that rejection.
5.5 Termination of the Subscription by the Subscriber
5.5.1 The Subscriber may terminate their Subscription without giving a reason after at least four months of use by sending an email with the subject “ANNULATION ABONNEMENT” (subscription cancellation) followed by the Subscriber’s name. An email reply will acknowledge receipt and confirm that the Subscription has ended.
Article 6 – Prices and payment
The current prices are displayed on the MEISO website. MEISO may change its prices. The prices applicable to Subscriptions or packages are those in force on the day the Subscription is taken out or the Session or Pack is purchased. At the Customer’s choice, payment may be made by cheque, cash, bank transfer or direct debit. If payment is made by cheque, the session must be paid for in advance and proof of identity must be presented. For direct debit payments, payments are split into 12 monthly instalments. The Customer undertakes to notify MEISO as soon as possible of any change to their bank details. In the event of a payment incident, the amount of the debit must be paid directly to MEISO by another payment method, plus bank charges. In the event of repeated payment incidents, MEISO reserves the right to terminate the contract at the Member’s sole fault and demand payment of the outstanding sums.
Article 7 – Payment by bank card
The Customer may pay for purchases directly on the MEISO website. The order amount will be debited only when the order is confirmed. Bank card payments are secured by STRIPE.
The secure payment system accepts only domestic bank cards, Visa and Mastercard.
Article 8 – Insurance
MEISO accepts no responsibility for loss or theft in its Centres. MEISO is insured against losses engaging its civil liability. MEISO cannot be held liable for accidents resulting from failure to observe safety instructions or the house rules, or from inappropriate use of equipment or other facilities.
Article 9 – Withdrawal period
When a Customer takes out a Subscription or purchases Sessions or a Pack remotely, the Customer will have, in accordance with Articles L. 121-21 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, fourteen (14) calendar days from purchase to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty.
The Customer may email the relevant Centre with “demande de remboursement” (refund request) as the subject. They will receive an email confirming the refund, which will appear in their account within one week.
After the 14 calendar days, no refund is available.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities taking out Packs and/or Subscriptions. Packs and Subscriptions are issued in the Customer’s name and may under no circumstances be transferred by the Customer to third parties.
Article 10 – Dispute resolution
This agreement is governed by French law.
MEISO informs the Customer of the possibility of using a conventional mediation procedure or another alternative dispute resolution method.
Article 11 – Invalidity of a provision
If a provision of this agreement is found to contravene an applicable law or regulation, that provision will be disregarded without affecting the validity of the other provisions of this agreement.
Article 12 – Termination and force majeure
MEISO undertakes to use its best efforts to fulfil its obligations under the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
If MEISO is unable to fulfil its obligations because of events beyond its control, MEISO cannot be held liable.
If the Centre closes for more than two months, the Customer may terminate the contract with MEISO by email.
MEISO also reserves the right to cancel Sessions because of staff shortages or exceptional events. If MEISO cancels the Customer’s booking, the Customer may benefit from an extension of the validity period of their Subscription and/or Pack by a period equal to the time between the original Booking and the actual completion of the Session.
In the case of a Subscription, the Customer may terminate it under the conditions set out in Article 5.
Article 13 – Safety and limitation of liability
By taking out a Subscription or purchasing a Pack or Session, the Customer declares that they meet the necessary health conditions.
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings and must not leave valuables on the coat rack at reception.
Customers are personally liable for accidents they cause.
Article 14 – Personal data
MEISO collects and processes personal data concerning its Customers in order to fulfil its obligations to them; manage Bookings, customer relations and complaints; improve the services offered by MEISO and the use of the websites it publishes; inform them of MEISO news and special offers; and comply with its legal obligations. Customers’ personal data may be shared with third-party service providers acting for MEISO, solely for the purposes stated in this article and in accordance with applicable law. MEISO and its providers store Customers’ personal data securely and never transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes.
In accordance with applicable law, Customers have rights to correction, amendment and access, which they may exercise by writing to the Centre’s address or to the contact email address given above.
