If you have not received an appointment confirmation email following your booking, there has been a problem and the booking was not successful. In this case, please contact your float center directly by telephone.

For floatation sessions, the cancellation period is 24h.

So, if you cancel the session less than 24h before booking, the session cannot be postponed.

However, for combos the delay is 48h before the session.

Floating in sensory isolation

 is a singular experience. In fact, it expresses itself as a reflection of who you are at the time. This applies to your body, your psyche and your emotional state.

You'll be floating in a pool saturated with a ton of salt. This experience can only be comfortable if your epidermis is not badly damaged. What's more, your mucous membranes must not be markedly sensitive. So if you're full of wounds or skin lesions, it's best to wait before floating.

Beyond the epidermal aspect, the muscular tone of the tissues decreases temporarily during the experiment. As a result, relaxation progresses from the outside in. This allows the body to regain its freedom of movement. What's more, these tissues can release tension which is then put back into circulation. It is therefore possible to experience sensations that may be perceived as new and uncomfortable. When a visceral tissue relaxes, for example, it releases a content that makes its way into the body to be released. 

In addition, the experience of sensory isolation 

can bring us face to face with old fears such as darkness. So it's up to each and every one of us, in full awareness, to move forward, in quietude, to let the body live. But also to let the lines of our physical, mental and emotional bodies move. Meïso offers you a unique device. It provides relaxation, but it's not just about well-being. Our center's responsibility is to accompany, inform and make available the floatation experience in isolation.

The pure float session 

lasts 1 hour, to which you must add 30 minutes (time for explanations, a shower and a cup of immortal tea to make your transition before returning to city life). We therefore advise you not to make an appointment immediately after the session, so that you don't feel rushed and can make the most of it.

Impossible to sink! 

Occasionally, you may fall asleep in the cocoon, but that's no problem, as you float completely and effortlessly. As the water carries you completely, no part of your body is compressed, your blood circulation remains fluid and therefore the unconscious movements of night-time turning do not take place.

The space is cleaned between sessions. 

For the water, a sort of mini purification station is built into each cabin. Purification is active between each float, guaranteeing clean, sterile water at every float. It includes a 1-micron filter (40 times finer than in swimming pools) and a photocatalytic oxidation device, enabling us to avoid using chlorine. While the 900 kg of magnesium salt play a major role in water purification, active oxygen is also used in microdose for safety. 

Finally, we periodically have each basin analyzed by an independent laboratory. We are the first to float and have the same considerations as you. 

You don't need a bathing suit to float, as you're alone in your own space and cocoon. Being naked doesn't interfere with the experience of sensory isolation. However, if you're more comfortable in your swimsuit, there's nothing to stop you bringing it along - you're on your own!

On the contrary,

 Magnesium salt is very good for the skin and has been used for centuries to treat skin problems.

Just don't shave or wax the day before or the day of, as the disinfecting power of salt can cause tingling. In case of wounds, we have special bandages available. Avoid drinking coffee the day before floating, as the stimulating effect may interfere with the depth of your relaxation. Avoid heavy meals, too, as difficult digestion can cause drowsiness.

Floating is a unique and personal experience. So it's each to his own. You can float at the same time in your own cabin.

Absolutely, floating is highly appreciated by women at an advanced stage of pregnancy. In fact, being carried by the water in turn brings great relief. Some mothers even report feeling a better connection with their baby. However, we recommend checking with your doctor beforehand. Floating should be avoided, as should any other physical activity, during the first trimester of pregnancy.

You can book 2 slots in a row to float for 2h30.

Floatation sessions are valid for 1 year and combo sessions are also valid for 1 year.

Yes. 

We do, however, provide earplugs and shampoo (feel free to bring your own conditioner).

Yes, with a tampon or cup, it can even relieve pain.

It's better not to float if :

• If you have a yeast infection or have just taken antibiotics (magnesium sulfate will irritate you).
• You have a recent tattoo that hasn't finished healing (we remind you to wait at least 21 days before putting your body back in the water). Attention You can also cover it with a waterproof bandage.
• You have scars or unhealed wounds too large for a bandage.
• You have varicose veins that are hyper-sensitive to heat (the water is 36 degrees).
• You are prone to dizziness or have inner ear problems.
• You're sick and contagious.
• You are very asthmatic and have a low tolerance of humidity.
• You've just had your hair colored (10 days)
• You have extensive unhealed burns.

If you're in a crisis, this will sting, so it's best to wait. However, we do supply Vaseline to cover sensitive areas and protect them from contact with the salt.
