Meïsō has offered floatation in France since 2015. Our Lyon Oāsis, at 28 rue de Condé in the Perrache-Confluence district (69002), welcomes thousands of visitors each year in three floatation rooms designed by our team.
Alongside floatation, our centre offers Combō sessions (an individual treatment + a float), for more than three hours dedicated to your well-being.

Floatation means letting the water support you in an individual pool containing approximately 900 kg of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate). The dense solution lets the body float with very little effort. The water is adjusted to around 35°C, while the cabin reduces light and sound.
The water’s buoyancy creates a sensation of weightlessness, while the quiet, low-stimulation setting offers space to pause. The experience can sit between wakefulness and rest and can feel different for each person.
A session at our Lyon centre includes 60 minutes in the water, followed by unhurried time for a shower, Jiao Gulan tea and our relaxation areas. Allow approximately 1½ to 2 hours in total.
By reducing external stimulation, floatation offers a quiet setting in which to pause. Small studies of REST (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy) have observed short-term relaxation and lower state anxiety in selected groups, while individual experiences vary.
The buoyancy of the water supports the body with very little effort. The warm, quiet setting invites physical ease and muscular relaxation. Many athletes choose floatation as a calm part of their post-exercise routine.
Many visitors describe feeling rested after floatation. The quiet setting offers a chance to slow down, and each person’s experience can be different.
Our Lyon centre has three floatation rooms designed by our team, with a ceiling height of 2 metres and a diameter of 2.4 metres. Enjoy our relaxation areas before and after your session, for as long as you wish. You can also combine your float with an individual treatment from one of our practitioners for more than three hours dedicated to your well-being.
